Job Description

Introduction to role:
Are you ready to lead and innovate in a rapidly growing commercial environment As the Associate Director US Commercial Field Force Deployment & Effectiveness you will be pivotal in driving Alexions US business success. This role involves leading and supporting processes that enhance our Commercial Operations organization from a Deployment and Field Force Effectiveness perspective. You will manage and recommend strategies for territory sizing and structure ensuring optimal balance between business potential and geographic optimization. With your expertise youll guide Functional Area Leadership in making informed decisions. Are you prepared to make a significant impact

Accountabilities:
Provide strategic leadership to advance Alexions Deployment strategy in partnership with the Director US Field Force Deployment and Sales Force Effectiveness.
Collaborate proactively with key stakeholders to execute initiatives related to Field Force Deployment and Effectiveness.
Lead develop and execute our Deployment Framework including customer segmentation targeting field force size and structure territory alignments and field execution analytics.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and ambassador of Alexions Deployment Framework.
Direct the quarterly alignment process for business units and functional areas ensuring operational readiness for strategy implementation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and execute field force realignments.
Manage the field roster for assigned functional areas.
Ensure compliance with state registration requirements for field personnel.

Essential Skills/Experience:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field
8 years of related health care industry experience: pharmaceuticals strategy consulting
Advanced knowledge of Field Force Deployment and Effectiveness processes in the pharmaceutical industry
Experience with Territory Design software such as Javelin Territory Designer
Knowledge of roles in Field Reimbursement Strategic Account Management Patient Services and Medical Science Liaisons
Ability to evaluate optimal field territory alignments
Adaptability in a fast-paced environment managing complex assignments
High level of integrity and dependability with urgency
Excellent presentation and communication skills for interaction with senior leadership
Proficiency in MS Office software including Word Excel Outlook Visio and PowerPoint
Strong analytical skills and business problem-solving acumen

Desirable Skills/Experience:
Advanced knowledge of Field Force Deployment processes for various field roles
Understanding of US geography and territory design for field forces
Pharmaceutical Field Experience
Masters degree or MBA
