Job Summary
Working hours: Mon Fri: 8 hours per day (Flexible)
A lovely family is looking for a traveling tutor/teacher for their 14 year old son
Child: 14-year-old boy
Area: Wellington CT and Namibia
Live In: The candidate will have their own room and bathroom with a small lounge and kitchen area.
Curriculum & Subjects:
- Cambridge Grade 8: Maths Biology Physics Chemistry English Afrikaans
- Future subject: Accounting (to be added in 2026)
Key Needs:
- Struggles to focus requires someone structured patient and able to keep him engaged.
- Tutor must be able to identify weak areas and provide consistent support.
Working hours: Monday Friday: 08h00 16h00
Duties: Facilitate Cambridge curriculum subjects. Create structure ensure all assignments and work are completed on time. Support in problem areas with focused tutoring. Prepare for tests and exams. Introduce educational outings and enrichment where relevant.
Requirements: Experienced tutor or teacher with strength in Maths and Sciences (Accounting/Business Studies also beneficial). Confident working with high school-level students. Ability to motivate and provide structured learning. Familiarity with the Cambridge or Cambrilearn curriculum is advantageous. Able to travel with family between Wellington and Namibia.
Start date: ASAP Long-term permanent role.
Salary: R25 000 - R30 000pm
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
***Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child-caring experience excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
***Must have their own reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
***Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
***Must have a clear criminal record
***Must have a passion for children
***Must have Matric
***Must have a South African ID document.
