Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least two years of experience teaching or tutoring English at the post-secondary level
- Experience working with second-language learners and sensitivity to their distinct needs
- Bachelors degree or higher in a related field (TESOL linguistics English speech pathology etc.)
- Strong written and oral English language skills; non-native English speakers are encouraged to apply
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher in a related field
Details:
- This is a temporary non-benefits eligible position subject to renewal each semester. Tutors work a minimum of five hours and a maximum of 20 hours per week. Virtual availability on weekends is required.
- Access to computer with a reliable internet connection is required for online tutorials
