Job Summary

After-School Program Staff member is responsible for supervising and engaging with elementary school students in a safe and positive environment. Facilitates enrichment and play supports homework communicates with families and ensures adherence to school policies and safety :-Supervise Students: Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in the program both indoors and outdoors.-Lead Activities: Plan and lead a variety of enriching activities including arts and crafts games sports and homework help.-Build Relationships: Act as a positive role model and build strong trusting relationships with students.-Communicate Effectively: Maintain clear and consistent communication with the After-School Program Coordinator regarding student needs or any concerns that arise.-Manage Behavior: Use positive behavior management techniques to guide students and maintain a structured and respectful -environment.-Maintain Cleanliness: Help with the setup and cleanup of program spaces ensuring a tidy and organized :-High School Diploma or higher.-Experience working with elementary school-aged children (ages 5-10).-Enthusiasm patience and a positive attitude.-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.-Must be able to pass State and Federal background checks.-Current CPR and First Aid certification is a -This is a part-time position. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
