Job Description
About the role
The Shipping Associate-FL Certified at Southwest Accessory Group is responsible for accurate and efficient picking labeling staging and loading of outbound shipments on forklift equipment.
What youll do
- Pick label and stage orders
- Scan and verify details
- Load trailers
- Apply labels and route documents
- Communicate discrepancies
- Follow SOPs and safety guidelines
- Perform final inspection
- Support documentation as needed
- Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items
- Report on all equipment and/or safety concerns
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Prior warehouse experience a plus
- Able to lift 50 lbs. consistently
- Basic computer/RF scanner knowledge
- Ability to read numerals and English
- NetSuite experience a bonus
- Operate equipment (IE: sit-down forklift stand-up Forklift Cherry Picker Deep Reach Truck)
- Forklift certification preferred
Physical Demands:
Standing Walking Reaching/Bending Endurance Balancing/Mobility Manual Dexterity Exposure to varying conditions Repetitive Motion Lifting to 50 lbs. consistently safety equipment loud noises: 8-hour work shift
