An established and innovative organization in the manufacturing and electronics sector is looking for a skilled and detail-driven Stores Controller to join their operations team. If youre passionate about inventory accuracy process efficiency and contributing to smooth production workflows this is the opportunity for you.
Oversee and manage daily operations within the stores/warehouse environment
Ensure accurate stock control including regular cycle counts and full stock takes
Maintain stock levels in line with production requirements and lead times
Coordinate with procurement production and dispatch teams to ensure timely material availability
Monitor incoming and outgoing stock ensuring correct documentation and handling
Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems and procedures
Ensure compliance with health safety and quality standards in the stores area
Investigate stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions
Supervise stores staff and manage workloads effectively
Minimum of 35 years experience in a stores or inventory control role within a manufacturing or electronics environment
Strong understanding of stock control principles and inventory systems (e.g. ERP or MRP systems)
Excellent attention to detail organizational and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse/stores context
Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Forklift license (advantageous)
Relevant qualification or certification in supply chain logistics or inventory management (preferred)
