Our client a prominent company in the Staffing and Key Growth sector is looking for a skilled Credit Controller to join their team. This role involves managing credit control processes ensuring timely payments and maintaining strong client relationships to support the organizations financial stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the credit control process including monitoring customer accounts and ensuring timely payments.
- Perform credit checks on new and existing clients.
- Negotiate payment terms and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable and prepare regular reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address billing and invoicing issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients addressing inquiries regarding payments.
- Ensure compliance with UK credit control regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- At least 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Credit Controller with a strong understanding of credit control processes.
- Familiarity with UK financial regulations and practices.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve problems efficiently.
- Ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
