Job Summary

Looking for a self starter with excellent work ethics that can work in a diverse environment with a diverse set of individuals. Must be able to plan oversee coordinate and resolve technical issues to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame proactive innovative collaborative and driven to achieve desired results. The DDG C4I Onsite technical representative will support NIWC LANT Surface Ship Integration Division by providing oversight and coordination of shipboard C4ISR installations on U.S. Navy surface ships. This role ensures effective communication and collaboration with Ships Force Commanding Officers NIWC LANT AIT Managers shipyard personnel and contractors to resolve conflicts maintain schedules and achieve installation milestones.

Performs most of the duties down at the waterfront aboard US Navy ships and will require lifting of equipment that could weigh up to 30lbs. Position is located in Pascagoula MS.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities include assisting the DDG onsite government platform manager with onsite technical support to include systems network security tests or certifications during all phases of ships production availability and trials. Coordinates the SOVTs with the ISEAs witness testing and crew acceptance of the C4I systems. Reviews and provides input to schedules provided by the Government Lead as they pertain to C4I systems. Compose and send out status updates for NIWC C4I installs and developing and maintaining POA&Ms. Attend production meetings monitor critical path activities and provide regular SITREPs to higher authority. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership technical knowledge of Navy C4ISR systems (CANES DS NAVSSI NMT ADNS NAVMACS COMSEC) and proven experience in managing complex shipyard or defense integration projects.

Qualifications and Skills

Required knowledge and years of experience

Must have at least twelve (12) years of experience with degree/formal training or fourteen (14) years with HS/ Navy C4ISR background. Proficient in MS Excel. Understand the NIWC Installation processes and procedures and shipyard processes and training requirements.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma. Bachelors Degree and Military background preferred.
