Job Summary
Job Title: Director/Sr. Manager Web Development AI Video Platform
Location: Hyderabad Hybrid Remote IN

We are an AI-assisted video platform that creates long form videos short for videos like Teasers Highlights and Clips from audio or video content podcasts live video. Rizzle is partnered with Getty Images MapTiler and Statista for content Eleven Labs for voice over and many other industry leading AI solutions. The result is highly engaging videos that can be shared on multiple platforms for self-expression brand engagement internal and external communications and additional monetization. Over the last few years Rizzles video creation technology has been used by more than 10 million creators to generate over 500 million videos.

Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Management: Lead and mentor a team of front-end and back-end developers providing technical guidance and ensuring efficient collaborative work across different skill sets for a cloud-based AI-powered video platform. Ensure solutions are aligned with business goals and technical requirements.
- Web Development: Oversee the development of dynamic responsive web applications ensuring front-end and back-end code is integrated seamlessly.
- AI Integration: Oversee the integration of AI technologies into the platform working closely with data science and cloud dev ops teams to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers designers and other stakeholders to define and prioritize features ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
- Code Quality & Best Practices: Establish and maintain coding standards and best practices to ensure high-quality testable and maintainable code.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for optimization recommending new technologies and staying current with industry trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in web development (React Angular or similar frameworks) and backend development ( Python Java etc.).
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services (EC2 S3 Lambda RDS DynamoDB CloudFormation etc.) and cloud-based architectures.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts particularly in the context of video processing computer vision or related fields.
- Experience leading and managing technical teams with a track record of delivering complex software projects on time.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines version control systems (Git) and Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with databases (SQL NoSQL) and designing APIs.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with video streaming and related technologies (e.g. HLS WebRTC).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Docker Kubernetes Jenkins etc.).
- Knowledge of AI video platforms media processing pipelines or related industries.
