Executive Director Global Platform Business Growth

The Executive Director Global Platform Business Growth is a visionary global leader responsible for driving the strategic direction operational excellence and digital transformation of Ingram Micros platform business across all regions. This role oversees regional platform leaders including the Director Global Platform Business EMEA & Growth Lead and ensures alignment with global objectives innovation and growth strategies.

This executive will lead the global platform transformation agenda champion the adoption of Xvantage across major accounts and foster a culture of continuous improvement collaboration and customer-centric innovation.

The location for this position is Spain (Barcelona) UK (Milton Keynes) France (Lesquin) or Germany (Dornach bei Munchen).

Your Role:

  • Provide global leadership and strategic oversight for the Platform Business across all regions (EMEA Americas APAC) ensuring alignment with corporate goals and regional market dynamics.

  • Define and drive the global go-to-market strategy for platform adoption and growth with a focus on digital transformation customer experience and operational scalability.

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of regional platform directors and global growth leaders fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.

  • Oversee the global execution of platform initiatives ensuring consistency quality and measurable impact across regions.

  • Champion the global adoption and optimization of Xvantage aligning platform capabilities with the needs of Ingram Micros major accounts and strategic partners.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership product technology and operations teams to shape the global platform roadmap and ensure delivery of high-impact digital solutions.

  • Drive global digitization and automation initiatives identifying opportunities for innovation and operational efficiency.

  • Serve as a key liaison with strategic partners and customers to ensure platform strategies are aligned with market needs and deliver exceptional value.

  • Monitor and report on global platform performance ensuring KPIs are met and continuously improved.

  • Lead change management efforts to embed digital-first thinking and platform-centric operations across the organization.

What You Bring to the Role:

  • Bachelors degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.

  • 15 years of progressive leadership experience in digital transformation platform strategy or global business operations.

  • Proven track record of leading large-scale cross-regional digital initiatives and managing P&L at a global level.

  • Deep understanding of digital platforms SaaS ecosystems and customer experience strategies.

  • Exceptional leadership communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with a focus on execution and measurable outcomes.

  • Experience leading global teams and driving cultural transformation in complex matrixed environments.

  • Passion for innovation continuous improvement and delivering customer-centric digital solutions.
