Job Description
Position Title: Cardiology Diagnostic Tech
Location: Hyannis MA
Job Type: Contract Local or Travel
Pay Range: $1311 $1380 Weekly
Shift: Day (3x12)
Hours: Day shift
Rotating weekends and holidays
Mileage reimbursement provided for inter-site travel
Schedule provided weeks in advance
Job Summary:
Provide high-quality patient care through accurate collection of laboratory specimens and performance of non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing. This role supports laboratory and cardiology services to ensure timely and safe testing for effective diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect blood and biological specimens and transport them to the laboratory
Perform non-invasive cardiac testing including EKGs Holter monitor placements and supervised cardiac stress tests
Complete documentation and enter data into hospital systems
Assist with patient preparation and safety monitoring
Communicate with lab staff and providers regarding testing issues
Maintain supplies and keep testing areas clean
Deliver compassionate and efficient patient care
Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
ASCP Phlebotomy Technician (PBT) Certification eligible
Skills & Experience:
Clear communication skills in English
Strong multitasking and organizational ability
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment
Acute care hospital experience preferred
