About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer who thrives in a startup environment where adaptability and cross-functional collaboration are key. This role goes beyond codingyou will work closely with customers partners and internal teams to understand commercial and technical challenges then translate them into product roadmaps and user stories.
While you dont need to be an expert in every aspect of the stack you should have a strong foundation in front-end development and API design along with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to understand customer and partner needstranslating them into meaningful product features and technical solutions.

Tasks
Responsibilities
- Understand customer and partner needs and help convert them into innovative products
- Develop and scale Myvers digital receipt infrastructure focusing on front-end development APIs and integrations with financial institutions integration partners and retail partners.
- Understand customer needs and technical environments helping to map challenges into a structured development roadmap
- Collaborate with product tech and business teams to ensure Myvers solutions align with customer requirements and market trends.
- Engage with partners and customers assisting in technical discussions and ensuring smooth onboarding of integrations.
- Experiment and innovate helping define Myvers approach to transaction data enrichment AI-driven insights automation and other groundbreaking products.
- Take part in ensuring that all deliveries live up to our PCI DSS compliance.
- Embrace a startup mindset taking on multiple roles as needed and adapting to evolving business needs.
Requirements
Ideal Candidate
- To be eligible applicants must hold a Danish work permit.
- Strong experience in backend API development (C# .NET SQL REST) with some exposure to modern front-end frameworks (React TypeScript).
- Proven ability to design and deliver API-driven integrations ideally with banking payment or retail systems.
- Comfortable bridging product and engineering translating customer and partner needs into technical solutions.
- Skilled in working in fast-paced environments with familiarity in AWS CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
- Awareness of security best practices; PCI DSS or fintech compliance experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities across systems databases (SQL/NoSQL) and integrations.
Education
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering Software Development or a related field is a plus but not a hard requirement.
Location
- Hybrid position based in Copenhagen.
- Some travel may be required for team collaboration and customer engagement.
