Senior Estimator

Location: Etobicoke

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Estimator / Head of Building Services with deep technical expertise in building envelope systems cladding and solar integration. This pivotal role bridges sales estimation and technical execution-delivering precise cost models answering complex technical inquiries and ensuring alignment across project stakeholders.

You will serve as a key resource for both the sales and estimation teams ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards in performance compliance and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the sales team to address technical questions related to building envelopes cladding and materials
Provide expert insights on system performance integration and real-world applications
Prepare technical documentation specifications and presentations for internal and client use
Lead and mentor the estimation team to ensure accurate and timely cost proposals
Oversee material takeoffs labor projections and cost estimates for projects
Work cross-functionally with engineering and production teams to validate feasibility and constructability
Provide recommendations for energy efficiency solar integration and code compliance
Conduct technical assessments to optimize system performance and project cost
Drive continuous improvement by streamlining workflows across sales estimation and technical departments
Train and develop team members in best practices and principles of building science
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve estimation accuracy and team productivity

Qualifications & Experience

7 years of experience in building envelope systems cladding or related construction fields
Strong background in cost estimation and project modeling for commercial or industrial projects
Proven leadership in managing and mentoring technical teams
Experience integrating solar technologies into building systems is a strong asset.
