Food Services Assistant Relief Coordinator/Catering Assistant

Successful candidates must have the ability to work shifts across a 14-day rotating roster which may involve weekdays weekend and public holidays working a variety of shifts with starts time ranging from 0530/630 and 1430.
About the Role
Dual role reporting to the Catering Manager youll be working within a fast-paced team-focused environment. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
Your skills and Experience
Relief Coordinator
- Coordinating meal plating and meal delivery service
- Monitor workflow and adjust staffing or tasks to maintain service standards
- Assist with induction and orientation of new or casual staff
- Ensure staff follow food safety hygiene and infection control protocols
Catering Assistant
- Exceptional customer service
- Being responsive and sensitive to customer information their needs and wants
- Setting up and plating
- Undertake cleaning duties throughout the department and at ward level whilst keeping in line with HACCP/Food Safety regulations infection control and hospital standards
- Dishwashing
- Demonstrate a great work ethic and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise work loads
- Be reliable motivated and have a friendly nature
- Allergy control awareness
- Experience within the healthcare industry desirable.
Remuneration: On offer is a base hourly rate of $28.71 superannuation exclusive of penalties or allowances.
