Job Summary

Early Head Start/Head Start Database & Reporting Specialist

The Opportunity Alliance is looking to fill our Database & Reporting Specialist position specifically supporting our Early Head Start and Head Start programs. new Assistant Director role with our Family and Early Childhood Education programs.

This position is responsible to support the Head Start & Early Head Start Management team in the creation of systems and practices that result in reporting and data analysis driving continuous improvement strategic planning and impactful programming. The Database & Reporting Specialist will also develop and deliver training & technical assistance to management & field staff to ensure systematic data usage.

Schedule: Full-time 40 hours per week hourly position.

Primarily Mon. Fri.

Location: Office will be located in South Portland but may have the need to travel between site locations in Cumberland County.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in technology or data analysis or a comparable degree or a high school degree and 6 years of directly related experience is required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with a direct service agency (behavioral health education or medical); experience with relational databases proficiency in Microsoft products including Access and Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with complex information giving great attention to detail & engaging in effective problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate team meetings as well as deliver professional development training.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Commitment to social justice and the mission of Head Start.
  • Must be able to able to successfully pass a criminal background child protective service check & sex offender check.
  • Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and TB screen.
  • ECE must be current on MMR and TDAP immunizations.
  • Driving may be necessary to attend meetings and trainings and for the occasional need to meet with clients offsite and within the program service area. This may include transportation of clients or driving to agency location to complete work. A good driving record is required.
