Job Summary
Position Description:
JOB OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking a Supervisor to join our Back-Office Operations team. Working with CI Global Asset Management (CI GAM) as a client Administrators will work on CI GAMs high-net-worth product lines and will be responsible for the everyday management of a team.
Education & Certifications
Post-secondary degree in Business Finance or a related field (required).
IFIC or Canadian Securities Course certification (asset).
Experience & Knowledge
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a relevant people-management or supervisory role (required).
Previous experience in financial services back-office operations or investment administration (preferred).
Knowledge of mutual funds investment operations and financial industry processes (plan types trade types tax rules etc.) is an asset.
Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership and people-management skills with proven ability to coach mentor and motivate team members.
Excellent organizational skills to manage workload distribution team coverage and operational flow.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail when handling sensitive transactions approvals and high-dollar trades.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to assess complex situations and deliver consistent positive outcomes.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal to effectively engage with team members clients and stakeholders.
Ability to monitor and analyze performance metrics to improve team efficiency reduce errors and meet service level agreements.
Experience supporting system enhancements process improvements and project-related activities.
