Description

Crisis Stabilization Social Worker (LSW/LPC)

3; 12 hour shifts/week: two weekend shifts per month

Day Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Night Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Compensation

$26/day shift during the week; $31/hour night shift during week; weekend shift differential Saturday & Sunday

National Youth Advocate Program is partnering with Franklin County Childrens Services to provide mental and behavioral health care and crisis stabilization to those adolescents youth and children who are displaced awaiting temporary or permanenthome this role the NYAP Crisis StabilizationSocial Worker will work with high needs youth with the focus of stabilization 24/7/365. Based at the Columbus OH FCCS offices and under the general supervision of the NYAP Clinical Supervisor or designee you will be an integral contributor of an 8-member team providingservicesand oversite to displaced youth providing advocacy and support toward the ultimate goal of living safely and successfully in the community.

Responsibilities

Provides safetyassessmentcrisis response and behavioral stabilization servicesas required.

Provides individual mental health services and other evidence basedclinical servicesas required.

Assists in family reunification and stabilizationefforts with the youths primary family or other care provider

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelors Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.

A valid Ohio professional license (LSW or LPC) is required

2years of work experience working in direct service with youth and families in crisis is preferred.

Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers smart phones and tablets printers fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing spreadsheet and database programs.

Driving and Vehicle Requirements

  • Valid drivers license
  • Reliable personal transportation
  • Good driving record
  • Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100000/$300000 bodily injury liability
