The opportunity
As The Rent Shops Business Development Manager youll drive Christchurch and Dunedinsrent roll expansion by securing new landlords delivering unmatched service and positioning us as the regions #1 property management provider.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively prospect and conquer new business through strategic outreach and relationship-building
- Build on the portfolios we have developed through developing meaningful relationships with Landlords and investors.
- Engage with Property Managers to understand where the opportunities exist
- Conduct accurate rental appraisals ensuring optimal pricing for fast tenant placement
- Be the expert learn about your competitors and seek out previously unexplored business opportunities
- Collaborate with Sales and Property Management teams to maximise lead generation
- Explore international property management business development trends
- Design and execute innovative campaigns (e.g. investor evenings social media initiatives and bring something unique and outside the box to us)
- Guide landlords through compliance and management processes with clarity
The skills and experience sought

- You will need previous experience in business development. We are open to discovering talented business development professionals from other industries
