We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role is responsible for generating new business nurturing client relationships and supporting the field sales team by managing accounts and processing leads. The ideal candidate is proactive customer-focused and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect & Qualify Leads: Identify potential business clients through research cold calls and inbound inquiries. Qualify opportunities and schedule meetings for the field sales team.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build strong long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing timely relevant solutions.
- Pipeline Development: Maintain and grow a healthy sales pipeline through strategic outreach and consistent follow-up.
- Product & Industry Expertise: Understand DCIs product and service offerings and how they solve specific business challenges in industries like logistics manufacturing transportation etc..
- CRM Utilization: Track all activities in the CRM (Salesforce) maintain detailed client records and ensure data accuracy for sales reporting.
- Collaboration with Sales & Marketing: Work closely with marketing to convert leads from campaigns and with field sales to ensure a seamless handoff and follow-up process.
- Quote & Proposal Support: Assist in preparing customized quotes and proposals for clients.
- Sales Reporting: Provide regular reports on activity levels opportunity status and performance against KPIs.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or related field preferred.
- 24 years of B2B inside sales experience preferably in logistics transportation or industrial services.
- Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce HubSpot or similar).
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas or pipeline KPIs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate with professionals at all levels.
