Job Summary

Role Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to support our warehouse and distribution operations. This role ensures that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently finished goods are properly stored and dispatched and logistics processes run smoothly and cost-effectively. The ideal candidate will be hands-on collaborative and committed to exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure warehouse and distribution procedures comply with company and regulatory standards.
Coordinate the receipt storage and dispatch of finished goods in line with customer requirements.
Maintain accurate inventory records and support periodic stock takes (mid-year and year-end).
Collaborate with Sales Customer Service Production and Transport teams to ensure timely deliveries.
Respond to customer complaints with professionalism and implement corrective actions.
Ensure system data reflects actual physical stock levels.
Optimize truck/container loading to reduce landed costs while maintaining safety and quality.
Plan for manpower and space requirements during peak seasons and festive periods.
Communicate with customers on delivery schedules and load configurations.
Verify finished goods against production output for accuracy.
Liaise with forwarding agents to ensure smooth import/export processes.
Support warehouse layout planning to maximize space utilization and service levels.
Monitor warehouse staff productivity and enforce safety regulations.
Maintain stock accuracy of 90% or higher through effective inventory control.
Generate timely reports on stock movement balances and status.
Implement and uphold ISO 9000 and Quality Management System standards.
Conduct site visits and develop improvement plans in response to customer feedback.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Logistics Supply Chain or related field.
35 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations preferably in manufacturing.
Strong coordination and communication skills across departments and external partners.
Familiarity with inventory systems and ISO 9000 standards.
Problem-solving mindset with a customer-centric approach.
