Customer Service & Import Executive
Description and tasks
- Collaborate with various departments to streamline order processing and handle administrative tasks efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels including stock held at VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) customer hub and process all orders meticulously ensuring accuracy and promptness in execution.
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and customer interactions in the ERP system.
- Prioritize customer satisfaction by promptly managing inquiries resolving issues and ensuring order fulfilment including documentation meets or exceeds expectations in a professional manner.
- Coordinate import shipments with suppliers freight forwarders and customs agents.
- Prepare verify and manage import documentation (invoice packing list BL COO etc.) to ensure compliance with customs regulations.
- Track shipment schedules to ensure timely arrival and clearance of goods.
- Liaise with finance and warehouse teams for payment duty and receiving coordination.
- Monitor import costs and assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate import records and ensure compliance with company policies and import laws.
