DescriptionOptimal on behalf of its client a well-established hospitality group is seeking an Asset Manager based in Athens.
Scope of Role
As an Asset Manager you will be responsible for maximizing the performance of the hotel portfolio and leading new development projects. Based in Athens with some travel across Greece you will act as the link between ownership operations and investment decisions to ensure growth and value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assess new investment opportunities.
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare business plans.
- Negotiate acquisitions leases or partnerships.
- Oversee renovation and development projects ensuring ROI.
- Coordinate external partners (architects engineers legal teams).
- Monitor capital expenditure programs and hotel performance.
- Analyze results vs. budgets identify revenue and cost optimization opportunities.
- Prepare regular reports for Management and Owners.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance Economics Real Estate or Business Administration (MBA/MSc preferred).
- 5 years experience in Asset Management or Development in hospitality tourism or real estate.
- Strong skills in financial modelling investment analysis and project management.
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting knowledge.
- Fluency in Greek and English.
- Strong business acumen negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Flexibility to travel across Greece when required.
