Salary Starting at $80000 commensurate with experience

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Under the supervision of the CDO the Director of Enrollment is responsible for coordinating the development implementation successful execution and continuous evaluation of the Districts strategies to recruit enroll and retain students.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certifications
- Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university (Degree in marketing public relations communications or related field required).
Knowledge & Skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of constituents or employees of the organization.
- Ability and/ or willingness to learn to use and understand Microsoft Office for spreadsheets letters and other written communication to effectively communicate information with employees administration and the Board.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in a standardized situation.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in Spanish highly desired.
- Ability to manage multiple projects priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Demonstrated knowledge of media operations.
Preferred Experience
- At least five (5) years of relevant experience.
- Experience in admissions preferably in the non-profit or education sector and including leadership experience.
- Bilingual Preferred (English/ Spanish)
- Experience developing and managing budgets training developing supervising and appraising personnel.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

- Oversee and grow student enrollment efforts to achieve the following goals:
- Strategically meet/ exceed student enrollment established targets.
- Build strong community relationships within all communities where TBP operates.
- Increase local state and national awareness of Trinity Basin Preparatory Inc. the mission of the organization and the academic success that TBP delivers.
- Direct the efforts of all district student recruitment enrollment and retention efforts.
- Reads and reviews applications; interviews prospective students; responds to applicant inquiries; and counsels prospective students and their families regarding the admissions process.
- Works with dedicated campus staff to build knowledge and support for TBP at the local state and national level to engage community members and other third-party organizations as needed to help promote and further the mission of TBP.
- Manages the re-enrollment of current students for the succeeding year with constant monitoring of attrition and retention.
- Collaborate with Executive and Campus Leadership to create communicate and implement/execute an annual data-driven plan designed to start the next school year with the targeted number of students on the first day of school. The annual plan will outline strategies roles and responsibilities to connect with new families in the communities TBP serves convert new families to enroll their students at a TBP school engage existing parents throughout the school year and retain existing students for future school years.
- Ensure TBP is compliant with all state requirements related to student enrollment for open-enrollment charter schools.
- Leverage technology and enrollment staff to collaboratively and continuously improve the customer service experience for parents when applying enrolling and re-enrolling.
- Establishes annual norms and practices that help to drive future increases in enrollment. This includes but is not limited to:
- Campus Open House during the regular school year.
- School visitation program (aka school tours) for prospective students and families.
- Building a network of paid and/or volunteer parent/ former student ambassadors who will assist with community outreach and student recruitment in the community.
- Enhanced communication protocols for the application/ enrollment process are designed to provide parents with accurate and up-to-date status for their students application(s).
- Maintain enhanced data and related analysis addressing why parents withdraw their students from TBP and using the analysis to develop/ execute an annual action plan to help eliminate similar and preventable withdrawals in the future.
- Understands and complies with all district policies procedures and expectations as communicated by administration.
