We are looking for a skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Haarlem.

Technical Operations at the Haarlem site is responsible for design & technology transfer of new products into the site component support and execution of capital projects to install or upgrade device assembly & packaging line capabilities aligned with new product needs.
About the role
As a Packaging Engineer you play a crucial role in optimizing our packaging and assembly processes. Your tasks are broad and challenging. You will provide technical support for introduction of new packaging and device assembly components products and processes. You will manage specifications and changes to components conducting studies to assess impact of changes on package/process performance. You will seek innovations and improvements to increase productivity and collaborate closely with other teams to develop optimal processes. Your responsibilities include organizing machine tests evaluating new components solving production line problems and supporting the introduction and qualification of new packaging image platforms and new equipment.
Primary tasks and responsibilities
Provides packaging engineering technical support to the packaging operations (IPTs) in the resolution of device assembly and packaging processing or component problems for in-line products.
Packaging and assembly processes:Support transfer and qualification of new products packaging images and processes to production identify and control risks and component specifications and assist with changes to equipment and components.
Productivity and production:Develop concepts and implement changes in packaging assembly equipment and processes. Collaborate with procurement and supplier management to monitor supplier performance conduct technical assessments and introduce new suppliers.
Process and package development:Support packaging and process development throughout product lifecycles. Facilitate development and approval of component specifications provide technical assessments for packaging component changes coordinate and assess impact of changes to process performance and quality through machine trials.
Technical & scientific support:Support packaging and assembly lines by solving problems and providing technical support backed by scientific evidence. Write and revise specifications support equipment analyze component issues and contribute to global PTO expertise on packaging components.
Engineering & project support:Support production packaging and assembly of pharmaceutical products. Assist with technology transfer provide input to equipment design qualification and validation test plans in collaboration with project teams.
Quality standards & regulations:Ensure compliance with the quality management system purchasing controls control strategies and support site inspections.
Your profile
Bachelor in Engineering or related field or relevant work experience related to packaging components component specifications and component change control.
At least 2 years of experience in packaging medical device or pharmaceutical industries preferred at least 5 years experience.
Experience in planning and managing projects and/or programs collaborating with various stakeholders at different organizational levels.
Strong communication skills preferred fluent in both Dutch and English (spoken and written).
