The position
As aMachine Learning Engineerat agap2 you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects over the years based on your experience and interests. Projects within industries such as Banking Fintech Telco Retail Sports and Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
You will collaborate in building improving and scaling smart advertising solutions. Youll join ourSponsored Productsteamthe group behind the recommendation algorithm that powers sponsored product placements across several European markets and soon in the US.
This role is ideal for someone who loves hybrid work: applying advanced data science methods while also contributing high-quality scalable software that runs smoothly in production.
- Develop and implement new features within our Sponsored Products solution.
- Maintain optimize and evolve our recommendation algorithm to maximize relevance and performance.
- Manage theDevOps lifecycleof our data science services with a strong focus on reliability scalability and observability.
- Perform data analysis and create reporting that supports both product and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with Data Scientists Backend Developers and QA Engineers in a high-performance team.
- Work directly with international retailersour clientswho use our retail media solutions.
What You Bring To The Position
- Extensive experience as aData ScientistorMachine Learning Engineer with strong development skills inPython.
- Proven experience working withrecommendation systemsorrelevance models.
- Knowledge ofDevOps principlesand experience maintaining production-grade systems.
- Experience inAdTechretail media or other high-traffic environments is a strong plus.
- Familiarity withagile/scrummethodologies and comfort working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication skillsyou share knowledge openly and can engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A strong conceptual thinker who sees the broader product vision and understands whats required to drive meaningful improvement.
