Job Description
You ll work as part of a design team to transform concepts into manufacturable products and assemblies. Your expertise in CAD will contribute to the development of consumer or industrial electronics throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

Create detailed 2D/3D CAD models of components and assemblies using software like SolidWorks AutoCAD Rhino or similar.

Translate sketches or design briefs into accurate technical drawings with precise dimensions tolerances and annotations for manufacturing.

Collaborate with engineers production teams and suppliers to ensure designs are both functional and producible.

Generate bills of materials (BOMs) apply GD&T standards and prepare documentation for fabrication.

Support prototyping and iterative development by revising models to improve performance manufacturability and cost efficiency.

Stay current with CAD technologies electronics manufacturing processes and best practices.
Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Industrial Design Mechanical Engineering Product Design or related field; or equivalent technical education and documented CAD experience.

Proficiency in mainstream CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD Rhino). Familiarity with electronics-specific design considerations (e.g. enclosures thermal management) is a strong plus.

Strong attention to detail problem-solving instincts and the ability to translate functional requirements into practical design.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities working alongside cross-disciplinary teams.
