Job Description
- Achieve profit budgets and meet or exceed annual sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in target markets.
- Negotiate and close trade deals using professional sales techniques.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high service levels.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
- Manage trade risks logistics and financial controls.
- Anticipate market demands to optimize sales timing and product selection.
- Matric and a Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Finance or related field.
- Solid FMCG export and business development experience; exposure to Indian Ocean Island markets advantageous.
- Strong numerical and financial acumen with knowledge of INCO terms.
- Experience in international networking and trade shows.
- Valid passport and drivers license; willingness to travel internationally.
- Strategic relationship management.
- Strong negotiation and sales skills.
- Analytical and mathematical proficiency.
- Market intelligence and risk management.
- Clear and persuasive communication skills.
