POSITION: Contract: 01 October 2025 31 December 2028
EXPERIENCE: 6-8 Years relevant experience

LOCATION: Hybrid: Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office rotation
TEAM: OtD -- Parts Logistics
Qualifications/Experience
- Relevant IT degree or 10 years industry working experience (Required)
- Experience working in international teams (Required)
- South African citizens/residents preferred; valid work permit holders considered
- Willing and able to travel extensively for up to 2 weeks at a time (international)
Essential Skills Requirements Must have experience/understanding:
- SAP ECC/R3 systems administration and configuration
- SAP WM & MM module expertise
- SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
- Business requirements analysis and documentation
- Analyse and solve SAP Module issues
- Conduct SAP Module process configuration
- Strong ability to understand and interpret business needs and requirements with an aptitude to move concepts through to proposal and successful implementation
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
Advantageous Skills Requirements
- SAP Module Configuration advanced expertise
- SAP MM/EWM Knowledge of ABAP Debugging IDOCs RFCs
- Splunk SmartOps Kafka integration tools
- Confluence JIRA Power BI TOSCA Tableau
- Operations experience: Release Management Change Management Test Management
- Application Monitoring and Incident Handling
- SAP S/4HANA platform experience
- Development documentation and technical writing
- Analyse and scope End-user authorisation roles
- Conduct Unit tests Integration tests and System Integration security tests
- Work to conform to Group IT Security Instructions
- Problem solving capabilities and analytical thinking
- Ability to work interdependently as well as independently and to submit deliverables on time with excellent quality
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with effective communication (verbal and written) with technical and non-technical colleagues
- Strong presentation skills and stakeholder management
- Above-board work ethics and professional integrity
- Flexibility to take up different tasks in the project
Role Requirements
- Business Analysis: Analyse business requirements and prepare AS-IS and TO-BE documentation with user sign-off for Business Blueprint documents
- System Configuration: Configure organisation structures (Purchase Organisation Plants Storage Locations) and prepare master data templates for Material Master Vendor Master and other objects
- Integration & Testing: Conduct integration testing with other SAP modules execute cutover strategies and provide go-live and post-go-live support
- System Configuration & Troubleshooting: Execute system changes through configuration perform ABAP debugging to support issue resolution
- Incident Management: Handle tickets troubleshoot issues and resolve incidents within SLA timelines.
- Raise Change Requests (CRs) and draft functional specifications
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct testing of CRs including regression testing and preparing test results.
- Support release preparation sanity checks and rollout processes
- System Integration: Understand and manage system interfaces IDOCs RFCs and Kafka integrations.
- Set up and manage application monitoring tools like Splunk SmartOps and SAP Health
- Documentation & Training: Create IDOC monitoring rules and alerting systems.
- Prepare user manuals and training materials for business process owners.
- Provide training sessions and onboarding for new team members
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders through meetings calls and emails.
- Participate in daily stand-ups grooming sessions backlog refinement and sprint reviews
- Tool Administration: Manage Confluence and JIRA for team collaboration.
- Administer mail tools mailing lists and key user lists.
- Oversee tools such as TOSCA (automated testing) Tableau and SAP Basis Info Portal
- Operations Support: Handle major incident escalations and reporting.
- Execute ITSM processes including ticket creation and management. Follow Operations best practices
- Quality & Performance: Conduct automated and manual testing using tools like TOSCA.
- Manage testing for SAP release upgrades and retrofitting processes.
- Perform SAP system health checks and troubleshoot identified issues
- Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor job scheduling through tools like ESAS and OPC-Job Scheduling.
- Support master data validation using tools like Master Data Checker. Generate reports and dashboards using Power BI and Tableau
- DevOps Support: Provide support for existing solutions (DevOps) even outside of business hours
