Working closely with the National Trade Sales Manager and supported by a strong team of infield sales professionals you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding Haymes Paints market share across South Australia.

You will manage and develop relationships with key customer segments including applicators independent network resellers and agents construction firms and facility maintenance addition you will play a key leadership role coaching and mentoring infield team members to ensure high standards of capability performance and customer service.

While primarily based in South Australia the role will require occasional interstate travel.

About you:

  • Significant sales leadership experience at state or national levels preferably but not limited in the surface coatings or associated industries.
  • It is crucial that you are a visible customer and people focused business leader able to build relationships with a variety of external plus internal stakeholders and drive new initiatives with an understanding of how the strategies fit across the broader goals of the business.
  • The desire to lead from the front and work infield with sales team members providing coaching training and managing performance.
  • Demonstrating empathy and resilience with a problem-solving mindset.
  • With excellent business and strategic acumen you will be well versed at translating business plans and visions into a consistent opportunity pipeline accompanied by strong existing business retention and growth.
  • An ability to manage multiple time sensitive priorities while being agile and responsive with a focus on core objectives.
  • You will be highly computer and CRM literate with the ability to effectively manage competing deadlines from various stakeholders demands ensuring successful delivery of targets and outcomes.
  • The ability to travel within your region where required for short periods.
