Your opportunity
We are looking for an experienced senior front-end engineer to join us in building our Energy Management System (EMS) an interoperable Energy Management B2B SaaS that centralises energy operations to quickly make and communicate
energy-related decisions. Through our platform energy professionals measure understand optimise and report energy use costs and emissions avoiding managing buildings manually and individually. Some of the challenges we tackle involve data visualizations interacting with the internal APIs extensible architecture solutions UI components and dealing with modern frameworks and libraries such as ReactJS.
What youll do
- Implement rich interactive data visualizations and reporting using TypeScript and React within a microfrontend architecture taking full ownership of the development process.
- Evolve our open-source component library with React Typescript and Storybook.
- Be part of a multidisciplinary team that is composed of Frontend Developers Backend Developers Product Designer and a Product Manager.
- Collaborate closely with our teams: infrastructure team customer success and other development teams.
- Be accountable and proficient with the code that the teams write keeping it clean and simple.
- Learn and improve your skills to continuously push us to deliver higher quality products.
This roles requires
- 5 years of experience working with JavaSript (ES6) and TypesScript.
- Experience with React and specifically with Reacts Context Hooks APIs and modern testing tools like React Testing Library.
- Familiarity with modern development and build tools such as git npm comprehensive understanding of UI testing techniques.
- Experience designing architectures following the best practices such as Clean Code DDD and SOLID principles.
- Product mindset balancing quality performance and time-to-market.
- Conversational English at a technical level.
Bonus points if you have
- Experience with other modern JavaScript front-end frameworks microfrontend and monorepos
- Timeseries data visualization using libraries such as Highcharts.
- Knowledge of the Energy sector.
