Job Summary

Title: Varsity Assistant Swimming Coach

Qualifications:
1.Valid drivers license
2.State of Ohio Teachers Certificate (preferred not required)
3. Coaching and administrative abilities
4. Obtain Pupil Activity Supervision Validation
5. Ability to relate to and inspire young athletes
6. Knowledge of the care of and prevention of athletic injuries
skills/resources to enhance the program
8. Skill in oral presentations
9. Able to get along with other coaches
10. Desire to invest time during season
11. Knowledge of training and conditioning techniques
to diagnose player deficiencies/prescribe correctiveactivities
13.Current CPR Certification
14.Demonstrate aptitude for successful completion of tasksassigned

Essential Functions:

Organize and promote ticket sales for middle and high school athletic events.

Organize working personnel for home events including ticket sellers and takerspolice and general patrol.

Act as a supervising official at all home contests including gymnasium field andother related areas.

Promote all athletic events.

Prepare reports of game attendance and gate receipts for the athletic director.

Supervise pre-season ticket drive.

Submit names and work schedules of working personnel to the athletic director forpayment.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

Serve as a role model for students and staff in how to conduct themselves as citizensand as responsible intelligent human beings.

Help instill in students and staff the belief in and practices of ethical principles anddemocratic values.

Conduct other duties related to the faculty managers duties as assigned by theathletic director.

Additional Working Conditions:

Occasional exposure to blood bodily fluids and tissues.
Occasional interaction among unruly children.

Terms of Employment:

Salary and work year to be established by the board.
