Job Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Seattle WA
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (with possible extension)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join a healthcare team in Seattle WA for a 13 week contract. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care support assist physicians and nurses and ensure smooth clinical operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet patients verify information and assist with check-in/check-out procedures

Take and record vital signs patient histories and other clinical information

Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during exams and minor procedures

Administer injections immunizations and medications as directed

Perform basic laboratory tests collect specimens and handle sample processing

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR)

Support front office tasks including scheduling referrals and patient inquiries

Ensure exam rooms are clean stocked and compliant with infection control standards
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program

Active Medical Assistant Certification (CMA RMA CCMA or NCMA) required in Washington State

Current BLS certification
-
Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical or ambulatory care setting preferred

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
