Job Description

About the Role:

This position is responsible for international and domestic ordering of products from Toyota Material Handling Australia approved suppliers as well as supporting the National Parts Distribution Centre and branch network in relation to freight and general parts enquiries.

Please note this role is not a hybrid role and requires attendance in our offices at Moorebank 5 days per week.

  • Key Duties & Responsibilities

    • Order parts from local and international suppliers to best support TMHA network.
    • Oversee the parts purchasing process to ensure required parts are ordered within factory and Toyota Material Handling parameters.
    • Coordinate with freight companies to keep shipments moving (air sea and urgent orders) and work with our National Parts Distribution Centre to prepare for deliveries
    • Keep branches updated on order ETAs and respond promptly to branch enquiries
    • Work closely with factories and suppliers to maintain a steady supply of parts flagging and solving resolving general parts supply issues before they become problems
    • Monitor stock in transit and resolve any discrepancies with branches
    • Review supply chain data spot potential delays and share updates with the National Warehouse Supervisor
    • Check supplier invoices and ensure theyre processed quickly and accurately
    • Handle general branch enquiries about parts on a daily basis including urgent orders part availability and order status updates
    • Monitor aged parts orders and work to reduce them to zero

    What Were Looking For

    • Strong admin skills and confidence using Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
    • Clear and professional communicator (both verbal and written)
    • Experience or interest in supply chain logistics or purchasing (preferred but not essential)
    • Great time management able to juggle priorities and work independently
    • Sharp eye for detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting
    • Proactive problem solver with a customer-service mindset
    • A team player whos motivated organised and ready to learn
