Problem & Failure Management Specialist (E/E Automotive Systems)
Sede di lavoro: 40019 SantAgata BologneseWe are looking for a motivated specialist to support problem& failure managementactivities within the E/E automotive domain covering components such as head-up displays and infotainment systems. The role involves analyzing field and testing data identifying recurring error patterns and ensuring corrective actions are properly tracked and applied for issues resolution. You will act as a link between testing engineering and quality department.
Activities:
- Analyze field and test data to identify technical issues and failure patterns;
- Identify document and track incoming cases ensuring accurate linkage between errors and root causes;
- Validate the effectiveness of corrective actions by monitoring their implementation through the complete problem lifecycle from detection to closure;
- Prepare weekly reports dashboards and one-pagers summarizing issue status timelines and escalations;
- Be the referent of quality committees and steering rounds by providing updates metrics and recommendations;
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments (engineering quality external suppliers) to resolve issues efficiently.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science Automotive Engineering or related field;
- 13 years experience in the development testing or validation of automotive E/E systems (e.g. instrument cluster infotainment HUD);
- Proved experience in problem-solving environments hands-on experience is an advantage;
- Ability to work with technical specifications diagnostic information and test reports;
- Familiarity with automotive development processes (quality development testing or diagnostics);
- Proficiency in MS Excel PowerPoint and testing report tools (logs traces DTCs etc.);
- Willingness to travel and spend time abroad when necessary.
- English professional level is required; German is a strong advantage.
Location:A temporary assignment abroad will occur followed by occasional business travel to the customer. Remote work possible after the initial onsite period.
