Job Description:
As a proposal pricing analyst you will be joining the L3Harris IMS1 Pricing team supporting the L3Harris IMS1 this role you will be responsible for supporting proposals teams in all aspects of the proposal pricing process. This includes but not limited to RFP analysis ProPricer (Pricing Software) setup and inputs working with other functional groups analyzing pricing data and Basis of Estimates creating cost and price volumes supporting internal reviews with management supporting customer audits and ensuring compliance with company policies and Government requirements.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to contribute from a pricing perspective to the development and execution of a cost proposal plan.
- Understand proposal material requirements and how to build material structures aligned with the WBS in ProPricer
- Determine what parts should be quoted and analyze CBOMs for completeness and accuracy and submitted timely to support proposals
- Compile cost elements in the development of proposals in accordance with Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements.
- Conduct proposal analysis and provide recommendations leading to a current complete and accurate cost or price volume
- Work with other functional areas in presenting cost proposal data for approval to functional as well as executive level management.
- Develop an understanding and ability to implement and mentor internal cost proposal processes and procedures as well as external Government contracting regulations (FAR CAS and TINA) to co-workers and internal customers.
- Utilize ProPricer and Microsoft Office to produce meaningful cost models and accurate timely reports
- Interface and support both internal and external customers in support of post-proposal submission audit fact-finding and negotiations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Demonstrated advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel.
- Solid understanding of different contract types such as Fixed Price T&M Cost- Reimbursement and Incentive Types
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Minimum 4 Years in Finance Accounting or Pricing preferred (or equivalent experience in the financial arena of government contracting)
- An ability to articulate oral and written to individual contributors management up to and including corporate executives and customers
- Experience in working with Material Estimating Government accounting & proposals
- ProPricer Software pricing tool experience preferred.
- An understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost accounting Standards (CAS)
- Experience with International contracting a plus.
- Experience with ProPricer & SAP is a plus
- Good analytical problem solving and organizational skills
- Capability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in Colorado State Hawaii Illinois Maryland Minnesota Vermont and New York State is $75K-$139K. For California New Jersey Seattle Washington D.C. Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area the city of Denver Washington State and New York City the salary range for this role is $86-$160K. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
