Avaloq Business Analyst for a major private banking client in Geneva
Hybrid (5 days onsite during the first 2 months then 3 days onsite and 2 days remote) Open to EU citizens currently eligible to work in Switzerland
About the role
Our client is a global technology consultancy supporting some of Europes most prestigious financial institutions. They are now looking for an experienced Avaloq Business Analyst to join the core banking team of a wellestablished private bank based in Geneva known for its excellence in wealth management and longstanding private client relationships.
In this role you will support the development and optimisation of Avaloqs fees and cost modules working closely with internal stakeholders to gather business requirements translate them into functional specifications and oversee implementation. This is a permanent position offering longterm potential within a regulated and collaborative banking environment.
Responsibilities
Analyse business requirements related to core banking processes particularly around fees and cost structures
Build parameterise and maintain Avaloqbased solutions aligned with business needs
Create clear documentation including functional specifications reports and project status updates
Actively manage relationships with stakeholders to ensure functional and endtoend alignment
Support testing deployment and postimplementation activities as part of the product lifecycle
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of handson experience with the Avaloq banking platform
Avaloq certification mandatory
Strong knowledge of Avaloq parameterisation and programming
Good understanding of PL/SQL and Oracle database environments
Analytical and structured approach to problem solving
Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience
Proactive selfmotivated and able to work independently
Fluent in English (French is a plus but not required)
Would be a plus
Experience working with Avaloqs Cost & Fees modules
Background as an Avaloq Developer transitioning into a Business Analyst role
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Understanding of APIs and tools such as JSON XML Swagger and Postman
Previous experience in private or wealth banking environments
