Kickstart Your Sales Career Join Our Sales Trainee Program

full-time Field-based fixed-term (12-18 months)

From day one youll be a valued member of our Field Sales Trainee Program. Well provide you with all the tools knowledge and support you need to grow quickly and make an impact in Sales. Youll get to know our snacking brand portfolio key stakeholders and many of our customers in the regions of Bern Solothurn part of Aargau and Luzern and Basel.

Throughout the program youll gain the skills to successfully position and activate our products in the market ensuring strong brand visibility and sustainable growth.

This role is the perfect starting point for a dynamic career at Mars. We are looking for ambitious talents who are eager to grow with us and build a long-term career in Sales or other functions.

What are we looking for

  • Passion for sales networking skills and a desire to be on the road and with your customers every day.

  • Confident appearance persuasiveness negotiation skills.

  • Dynamic enthusiastic and can-do approach.

  • Resident in the above area or willing to move to this region (with willingness to relocate to Zug for your next role in Mars).

  • Good MS Office and analytical skills.

  • Fluent in German and English (both spoken and written) required. French is an advantage.

  • Driving license and clean record.

What will be your key responsibilities

  • Professional support of direct and indirect customers in the defined geographical area.

  • Driving sales through optimal distribution and physical availability of our products in the snacking category (chocolate fruity gum).

  • Driving the quality of displays delivering excellent execution in line with perfect store ambitions and building influential relationships with key stakeholders to deliver incremental business and category growth.

  • Identifying and contacting prospective customers and building relationships to generate future sales.
