Tasks
Your Mission
As a Solution Architect at Xelon you play a key role in shaping technical solutions that drive business impact. You collaborate closely with Sales Product DevOps Engineering and Security teams to design robust scalable and secure systemswhile also supporting pre-sales activities and informing product pricing and cost evaluations.

Your Responsibilities
Architecture & Engineering
- Design solution architectures for VMware Proxmox Kubernetes and hybrid cloud environments
- Create secure and compliant systems aligned with SOC 2 ISO 27001 and GDPR requirements
- Define technical blueprints documentation data flows and system integrations
- Work with Product and PX Design to turn customer problems into scalable solutions
Sales & Pre-Sales Engineering
- Join customer meetings and support the Sales team with technical solution designs
- Conduct workshops and discovery sessions with clients and partners
- Contribute technical inputs to offers RFPs and onboarding plans
- Create reusable technical documentation for pre-sales and offer packages
Cost & Pricing Support
- Translate architectures into cost models considering scalability infrastructure and delivery
- Support Product and BusinessOps with pricing strategy service tiers and bundling
- Contribute to value-based pricing initiatives and offer feasibility checks
Requirements
Your Profile
- 35 years in solution architecture infrastructure engineering DevOps or related fields
- Experience with virtualization (VMware Proxmox openStack) and cloud-native tools (Kubernetes Terraform)
- Interest or experience in cost modeling TCO evaluation or value-based pricing
- Familiar with security and compliance standards (SOC 2 ISO 27001 ISAE 3402)
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences
- Fluent in German English is a strong plus
- Self-motivated curious and eager to learnready to grow into a broader architecture role
Bonus Points
- Certifications: VCP VCAP CKA CKAD PVCE or Cloud Architect (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Experience in regulated sectors SaaS product development or Business Analytics
- Background in technical consulting sales engineering or system design
- Familiarity with agile development and documentation tools (Atlassian Stack GitOps etc.)
