This Position reports to:

Location:Orsay (91) / Home Office

Your Role and Responsibilities

Within our Instrumentation business unit our high-tech measurement instruments help industrial clients optimize their processes improve energy efficiency and reduce atmospheric emissions.

Reporting to theWEMEA (Western Europe & Middle East Africa) Instrumentation Manager and leading a team of around twenty people you will implement the global strategy (sales and operations) in France and drive the growth and performance of the Instrumentation business ensuring strategic plans are executed in alignment with the global vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy the commercial and operational strategy of the Instrumentation business in the French market ensuring market share growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the sales teams (account managers) and sales support functions (quotations sales administration/order management) either directly or through two intermediate managers.
  • Ensure the economic performance (P&L) of the Instrumentation business (growth margins profitability) and present results to WEMEA management.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients and prospects through field presence negotiation of framework agreements with strategic partners and collaboration with the Analytics business.
  • Develop the services business to strengthen customer loyalty and installed base retention.
  • Optimize internal processes to improve efficiency and responsiveness to customer needs.
  • Lead develop and motivate a team of approximately 20 people ensuring a safe inclusive and high-performing work environment.

Profile

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in B2B sales in the French market.
  • Solid knowledge of the instrumentation market and its industrial players.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a commercial management role.
  • Experience within an international group is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Proven leadership team management and strategic orientation skills will be key to success.
