Position Overview
The HR Manager will lead the Human Resources function for a single Strategic Business Unit (SBU) within a fast-paced BPO environment overseeing both strategic and operational HR activities. This role is 75% strategic focusing on talent management organizational development and HR strategy implementation with 25% dedicated to operational support. The HR Manager will act as a key business partner to leadership ensuring HR initiatives drive employee engagement performance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
- Partner with the SBU CEO and Group HR Director to design and execute the HR strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Develop and implement workforce planning succession planning and talent management programs.
- Drive organizational culture engagement and change management initiatives.
- Lead HR projects and transformation initiatives ensuring measurable impact.
Talent Acquisition & Development
- Oversee recruitment strategy to attract top talent in the BPO/service sector.
- Ensure robust onboarding and orientation programs to enhance retention.
- Implement performance management frameworks including KPIs competencies and career development plans.
- Identify training needs and develop learning and development plans in coordination with the Group HR function.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations guiding conflict resolution and disciplinary matters.
- Ensure compliance with Egyptian labor law and internal policies.
- Implement HR policies and procedures while ensuring consistent application across the SBU.
Compensation & Benefits
- Lead the design implementation and continuous improvement of C&B programs to attract motivate and retain talent.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive positioning within the BPO/service industry.
- Oversee the annual salary review process bonus schemes and incentive programs.
- Develop and manage non-monetary reward programs including recognition initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with compensation and benefits policies and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Monitor payroll accuracy reconcile discrepancies and coordinate with finance to ensure timely payments.
HR Operations
- Oversee HRIS data accuracy personnel records and reporting.
- Supervise the HR Generalist and ensure efficient day-to-day HR operations.
- Prepare HR metrics and dashboards for management review.
Qualifications
- Education: MBA (Human Resources or Business Administration preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 4 years as an HR Manager in the service industry (BPO preferred) based in Egypt.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of all HR functions HRIS systems and AI tools.
- Soft Skills: Proven leadership high communication skills problem-solving abilities strategic thinking and adaptability.
- Language: Excellent command of English and Arabic (written and spoken).
