The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotels employment policies and practices including hiring firing discipline staffing compensation benefits and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International Inc.
As Area VP youll be charged with steering three Marriott franchise propertiesfrom prelaunch planning through operational execution and continuous performance improvement. Reporting to Bennett Hospitality ownership youll ensure excellence across branding finance and operations.
Key Responsibilities
MultiProperty Leadership & Strategy
Provide regional leadership and oversight across all functional areasoperations sales finance HR maintenance and brand compliancefor three custom-built Marriott hotels.
Develop and deploy local market strategies aligning property performance with Marriott brand standards and regional goals.
Ensure rollout of brand service standards while exceeding guest expectations.
PreOpening & Launch Oversight
Lead pre-opening and launch strategy for new hotelcoordinating with developers construction teams and corporate to align timeline purchases staffing training and brand integration.
Oversee setup of operations systems and SOPs to ensure seamless launch.
Financial & Operational Performance
Monitor P&L performance; set and track KPIs to ensure revenue goals margin targets and cost controls across properties.
Coach and support GMs to drive operational excellence and implement action plans as needed.
Sales & Marketing Leadership
Cultivate relationships with key accounts and local business partners to drive group bookings and demand.
Activate Marriotts regional sales platforms to enhance visibility and revenue generation.
Talent Development & Culture
Champion leadership development across GMs and department heads ensuring robust succession pipelines and high engagement.
Conduct performance evaluations foster service excellence and build a values-driven culture.
Compliance & Brand Standards
Ensure consistent application of Marriott brand standards across all hotels.
Conduct property walkthroughs audits and ensure readiness for assessments.
Education: Bachelors (Hospitality Business) MBA preferred.
Experience:
10 years in senior leadership roles with multi-property hotel oversight and P&L accountability.
Proven pre-opening experience managing new-build or significant conversion projects.
Skills:
Demonstrated crossfunctional leadership across operations sales finance HR.
Strong financial acumen with P&L management expertise.
Excellent management skillsbridging ownership expectations and brand guidelines.
Effective communicator strategic planner and change agent.
