You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailDue to our growth we are excited to announce the addition of a part time payroll specialist to join our team 2-3 days a week in our beautiful Sarasota offices.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process payroll for employees accurately and timely
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local payroll regulations
- Calculate and process payroll deductions including taxes benefits and garnishments
- Maintain accurate employee records and update changes in employment status
- Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
- Generate payroll reports for management review
- Assist with year-end payroll activities including W-2 preparation
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist Doctor Commission calculations a plus!
- In-depth knowledge of payroll processes and regulations
- Proficient in using payroll software such as ADP or PeopleSoft
- Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Familiarity with benefits administration and tax regulations related to payroll
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills to interact with employees and management
