Receptionist Be the Friendly Face of Hotel Waterloo & Backpackers!
Were looking for a warm organised and reliableReceptionist to join our Front Office team at Hotel Waterloo and Backpackers in the heart of Wellington. If you love helping people enjoy variety in your day and thrive in a busy social environment this could be the perfect role for you.
As our Receptionist youll be the first person our guests meet and the one they remember when they leave. From welcoming travellers with a smile to making check-in and check-out a breeze youll play a key role in creating an outstanding experience from start to finish.
Youll handle reservations take phone calls and emails and make sure every booking is processed smoothly. Guests will turn to you for help with directions recommendations and special requests and youll love going the extra mile to make their stay memorable.
No two days will look the same. One moment youll be balancing accounts and processing payments the next you might be helping a guest with their luggage or supporting other departments to get rooms ready. Flexibility is important as youll be working a mix of day and evening shifts with the chance to cover occasional nights as well.
Were after someone with previous reception or hospitality experience ideally in a hotel. If youre friendly professional love working with people and have a keen eye for detail youll fit right in. Strong communication skills and confidence on the phone are a must and youll enjoy being part of a supportive hard-working team.
