Job Description

Are you a systems-savvy professional ready to make a meaningful impact on workplace safety Glenorchy City Council is seeking a motivated and technically capable Digital System Administrator WHS to help embed and support health and safety systems that protect our workforce and strengthen operational performance.

About the Role:

As the Digital System Administrator WHS you will play a key role in managing improving and supporting Councils WHS software and digital tools. Youll work closely with teams across the organisation to ensure our systems are practical reliable and aligned with our safety goals.

This hands-on position combines digital systems knowledge with strong communication and training skills providing system support maintaining accurate records delivering WHS reports and guiding teams on best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer WHS digital systems and ensure accurate accessible safety data.
  • Deliver WHS onboarding induction and system training for staff.
  • Maintain hazard compliance and WHS registers as required
  • Assist teams in embedding WHS system use into daily operations.
  • Provide reports and insights on WHS performance and compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement through system feedback and enhancement.
  • Support document control audits and WHS-related process improvement.
  • Champion a positive safety culture and contribute to WHS initiatives.

About You:

Were looking for someone with:

  • Experience supporting digital systems and/or advanced administration skills in a WHS blue collar setting.
  • The ability to train and guide users on software tools.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • An understanding of (or willingness to learn about) WHS compliance and legislation.
  • A collaborative proactive and people-first mindset.

What Youll Bring:

  • Relevant experience in system administration and digital support.
  • Experience in the use of WHS software and/or data reporting tools or similar applications.
  • Ability to manage safety registers compliance and maintain data integrity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience supporting internal stakeholders across varied teams.
