Senior AI/ML Engineer/Lead

Job Description:

About DXC Bulgaria

• In cooperation with the team manager and the other senior AI/ML specialists you will have the responsibility of identifying and design the best solutions and AI/ML components for all or a range of AI Products.

• Directly deliver the AI/ML components assigned to you as part of one or more Products.

• Participate in daily scrum meetings.

• Perform Project Management activities where required.

• Monitor coach and support more junior members of the team.

• Be part of the the AI Products Tech leadership team and suggest new innovative ways for applying AI/ML technologies to the Insurance world.

Experience and skills required:

• 4-6 years of relevant experience

• Proficiency in machine learning algorithms and techniques including supervised and unsupervised learning deep learning reinforcement learning etc.

• Experience with popular AI/ML frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow PyTorch scikit-learn etc.

• Proficiency in natural language processing (NLP) techniques and models Text Classification RNNs CNNs and Transformer-based models like BERT.

• Experience with generative AI and related terminologies including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) Vector DBs and frameworks such as LangChain Hugging Face etc.

• Strong programming skills in languages commonly used for data science and ML especially in Python.

• Ability to design and implement end-to-end AI/ML solutions from data preprocessing and feature engineering to model deployment and monitoring.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services for AI/ML such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform preferably in AWS.

• Knowledge of AWS Cloud Resources like AWS Sagemaker Lambda DynamoDB S3 etc. a plus.

Leadership and Management Skills:

• Experience leading a team of data scientists machine learning engineers or related roles on a specific project.

• Ability to mentor and coach junior team members providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment.

• Strong project management skills including the ability to prioritize tasks allocate resources effectively and meet deadlines.

• Experience in setting technical direction and strategy for AI/ML projects aligned with business goals.

• Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels including technical and non-technical audiences.

• Prior experience in Insurance a plus.
