Job Description

What You Will Bring:

Technical and Industry Experience

  • Some knowledge of technical and practical structural engineering skills.

  • Understanding of fundamental structural engineering principles and basic awareness of other engineering disciplines.

  • Developing skills in structural engineering-specific software.

  • Competence in the use of relevant software such as the MS Office Suite.

Education Qualifications Accreditation Training Required

  • Currently undertaking a recognized and relevant engineering degree or equivalent that will lead to registration as a Professional Engineer.

Purpose:
As part of the Worley Undergraduate Community you will work under the close guidance and mentorship of our structural engineering team. This internship provides hands-on experience in applying classroom knowledge to real-world engineering projects while supporting the delivery of safe and efficient solutions to Worley and its customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the delivery of structural engineering services that meet Worleys its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications on time and within budget.

  • Assist in performing structural engineering tasks such as:

    • Contributing to studies analyses and recommending actions.

    • Assisting with the preparation of detailed designs drawings specifications datasheets calculations and reports.

  • Communicate effectively with the structural engineering team and project stakeholders including customers.

  • Identify issues propose solutions and seek guidance where required.
