You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAs Assistant Venue Manager you will support the Venue Manager in overseeing and organizing daily operations to ensure the highest standards of food and beverage quality service and customer satisfaction and you will support strategic planning and execution to maximize profitability through operational efficiency and guest-centric service.
As an Assistant Venue Manager you will oversee all Venue Food & Drinks operations to ensure quality and service by performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Team Leadership & Training What are we looking for
Train supervise and coach bar team members to deliver consistent high-quality service in line with Hilton and brand standards.
Participate in evaluating team performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Assist in creating SOPs job checklists and work schedules to streamline operations.
Lead by example demonstrating professionalism strong work ethic and excellent communication.
Operational Excellence
Actively manage daily operations and service delivery in the outlet.
Ensure adherence to sanitation hygiene and safety standards for both guests and staff.
Conduct regular inspections and take corrective action to ensure the outlet is clean well-maintained and visually appealing.
Oversee and coordinate maintenance and repair requests to ensure timely resolution.
Guest Experience
Take care for guests from arrival to departure ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally.
Promote a service culture focused on customer satisfaction and personalized service.
Sales & Revenue Generation
Promote additional sales and upselling through staff training and incentivization.
Encourage in-house sales by maintaining strong product knowledge and understanding of all hotel services outlets and promotions.
Cost Control & Inventory
Work in a cost-conscious manner to meet budget targets (e.g. payroll beverage and food costs).
Oversee stock control conduct regular inventories and ensure accurate stock rotation and ordering.
Team Collaboration & Development
Assist with staff development through training programs coaching sessions and cross-functional support.
Contribute proactively to internal meetings hotel initiatives and yearly activations or events.
Support and maintain supplier relationships and contribute to developing partnerships that benefit the outlet.
What are we looking for
An Assistant Venue Manager serving Hilton Brand hotels is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role you should maintain the attitude behaviours skills and values that follow:
Proven experience in a bar or hospitality supervisory role (e.g. Head Bartender Bar Supervisor).
Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of bar operations stock management and cash handling.
Excellent knowledge of hygiene and safety regulations.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required
