Fullstack Kotlin Developer (Freelance German speaking)

You wont just be writing code youll be helping to design shape and implement a futuristic IT ecosystem alongside international colleagues in an environment that celebrates innovation and collaboration.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Initial 12-month contract (extensions expected project runs for 5 years)
Location: Remote anywhere in Europe with onsite workshops in Heilbronn approx. every 2/3 months
Languages: Fluent German & B2 level English
What you can expect
YOU design develop and implement both backend and frontend components
YOU develop and maintain scalable backend services using Kotlin and Ktor
YOU design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication between systems
YOU work with MongoDB for data persistence
YOU deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes environments
YOU implement and manage OAuth for authentication and authorisation
YOU support the development of internationalised and localised applications for different markets
YOU collaborate with a global team in workshops code reviews and agile ceremonies
What you offer
YOU bring 10 years of fullstack development experience with strong hands-on expertise in Kotlin
YOU have deep knowledge of Kubernetes MongoDB and REST APIs
YOU have proven experience with Grafana (frontend and monitoring) and (interfaces)
YOU are confident working in complex large-scale environments with high demands on scalability and performance
YOU are fluent in German and comfortable working in English (B2)
Nice to have:
Experience with Solace for messaging solutions
Knowledge of logs metrics and traces provisioning via Grafana
Advanced skills for user interface development
Enthusiasm for architectural discussions and agile collaboration
