As a full-stack engineer with Digistore24 you will:

• Drive significant global impact: Shape the user experience for thousands of customers daily with your full-stack expertise.

• Collaborate With Experts: Partner closely with product managers UX/UI designers and platform developers to bring cohesive and innovative solutions to life.
• Contribute to Engineering Excellence: Build on a proven expertise with PHP as well as one or more modern frameworks (Symfony Lavarel). Conduct thorough code reviews refactor legacy components and propose strategic improvements to modernize our evolving codebase.
• Mentor and Lead: Share your backend-end expertise with the team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
• Work With an International Team: You are fluent in both written and spoken English to communicate clearly. Our fully-remote work environment requires excellent and proactive communication to keep everyone on track!

Requirements

Your superpower

• Strategic business thinking: You dont need to know every detail of how to solve a problem because you understand the business case behind it and you can make pragmatic decisions
• Code refactoring expertise: You are able to tackle legacy code and make small refactorings without breaking it
• Problem-solving mentality: You take ownership of a task and will do whatever is necessary to finish it. Yes you understand yourself as a problem solver via code not a coder.
• Master of great code quality: You understand code quality outside of frameworks
• Communication skills: You are fluent in both written and spoken English to communicate with our international team
• Extensive technology stack:
  • Strong proficiency in PHP/Symfony
  • Very strong expertise in Angular TypeScript and Jest (or other comparable Front-end languages like React or Vue)
  • Experience in test-driven development
  • Deep knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 including CSS methodologies (BEM SMACSS) and CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
  • Experience with web performance optimization techniques and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
  • Exposure to automated testing frameworks for front-end applications beyond Jest such as Cypress or Selenium is a plus.
