Summary
This position requires a person with in-depth knowledge of the Joint Terminal Control Training and Rehearsal System (JTC-TRS) and will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the Joint Theater Air Ground Operations Simulator (JTAGSS). The candidate will have to teach both the JTAGSS Basic Course and JTAGSS Advanced Course to customer designated personnel at sites around the globe. The SME will lead efforts to maintain the course documents current. The candidate will support the Customer Logistics Support team in keeping the 16 JTAGSS Systems mission ready. The SME will support CAE efforts with the JTC TRS Domes and Desktop Systems. This position is located at the CAE Arlington TX facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Be the SME for the JTAGSS system
Maintain course material for the JTAGSS Basic and Advanced Courses
Teach the JTAGSS Basic and Advanced Courses
Support CLS as to maintain the JTAGSS Systems. This will require travel to the customer sites.
Asist CAE personnel in maintaining the JTC TRS Dome and Desktop system
Provide guidance and insight into any changes needed or recommended on the JTAGSS system
Work with the program product and functional management teams to support technical direction and ensure that the training system meets requirements
Support develop and maintain customer relationships
Provide program proposal and development support specifically in the case of the JTAGSS System
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Minimum of 3 years experience as an operator or maintainer of JTC-TRS Dome and Desktop and JTAGSS trainers
Previous instructor / Teaching experience
Previous experience with Air Support Operations Center (ASOC) operations
Previous experience as a Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) or similar duties
Previous experience as a Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) or similar duties
Incumbent must be eligible for DoD SECRET Security Clearance.
Proven ability to develop innovative solutions both individually and as part of a team
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information to technical and non-technical audiences including peers management and customers
Strong MS-Office toolset skills
Due to U.S. Government contract requirements only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
Preferred Skills
Bachelors Degree
Knowledge of military simulator/training devices specifically the JTC TRS and JTAGSS systems
Security Responsibilities
Must complywith all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials in any form. Shall not divulge any information or afford access to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
Due to U.S. Government contract requirements only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
Work Environment
Extensive travel possible 25% or more.
Must be able to travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites.
Position is full time in office at CAE Arlington TX facility Moderate to high levels of stress associated with technical schedule and customer issues are to be expected with this position.

May be to climb stairs.
Must be able to climb stairs to enter and exit a simulator
Must be able to carry up to 20 lbs of equipment 50 yards
